Scholarships

The Elks National Foundation is committed to helping students achieve their educational dreams through a variety of scholarship programs. Each year, the Elks provide over $3.64 million in college scholarships to deserving students across the United States. These scholarships, including the Most Valuable Student Scholarship, Legacy Award, and College Sophomore and Junior Scholarships, offer financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. By supporting academic achievement, the Elks help students build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

Building Future Leaders

Top scholars from the Most Valuable Student Scholarship program are invited to the MVS Leadership Weekend, where they engage in leadership development activities. The top 20 students receive $30,000 scholarships, further solidifying their potential as future leaders in their communities.

Continuing Support for College Students

Local Elks Lodges, such as the Bristol Elks, offer additional scholarships to enrolled college sophomores and juniors. With awards totaling $2,500 or more annually, these scholarships help students continue their academic journey without financial stress.

Supporting High School Seniors

Each year, the Most Valuable Student Scholarship awards 500 four-year scholarships, ranging from $1,000 to $12,500 per year, to graduating high school seniors. This program provides over $2.5 million annually to help students attend colleges and universities across the U.S.

Honoring Elks Families

The Legacy Award grants $4,000 scholarships to children, stepchildren, and grandchildren of Elks members. These awards recognize students who uphold the values of Knowledge, Charity, Community, and Integrity, contributing to their academic success and future impact.
