Hoop Shoot

The Elks Hoop Shoot is the largest youth free throw competition in the country, open to boys and girls ages 8 to 13. Each year, over three million participants demonstrate grit, perseverance, and sportsmanship as they compete in this national contest. Winners advance through local, district, state, and regional levels, with six national champions having their names enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The Hoop Shoot program builds character and encourages healthy competition, helping young athletes develop skills that last a lifetime.

Honoring Champions

Each year, the names of the six national champions are displayed in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, a lasting tribute to their achievement. Champions and their families are invited to special events, celebrating their journey to success.
